I have worked for many companies including NHS and I can tell you, I have only ever seen 2 databases that I consider to be well put together.

We aim to ensure that your database is normalised. Normalised means that the fields and tables are broken down into their lowest state. How normalisation helps:

• It ensures that the information presented is written only once.
  • Lets say for example you have an address. Many companies will write this address over and over again within the database. We design it, so you only have to type and change the address once and once only.
• It ensures that your information is easy to maintain.
• Allows easy implementation of new tables and fields.
